Meet Baby Newell

It's a GIRL!

I had my detailed U/S today and everything looks great!  It’s a girl.  Garrett was a little disappointed, but later told my dad on the phone that “It’s ok that it’s a girl.  This way, when I’m sleeping, she won’t wake me up crying in the night” (because she won’t be sharing a room with Garrett….. he was a bit worried about that part!).  I’m glad he found something to be positive about!  I keep telling him, he’s going to have lots of girls to take care of and be a hero to.  I think he’d have had a hard time sharing hero status.  😉

The girls are just plain excited.  And suggesting all kinds of names for us to consider…..

  5. How wonderful! We had two girls, then a boy, then another girl, and then another boy. So at one point, we also just had three girls and a boy. Everyone was always asking my son if he didn’t feel bad being the only boy…I don’t think he ever really thought much about it until everyone brought the idea into his mind! 🙂
